Job vacancy at LEWELL

Apprenticeship place as an industrial business management assistant

Do you enjoy getting to grips with business situations, like working with numbers and have an interest in technology?

Then training as an industrial business management assistant might be just the right career move for you. During the 3-year training, you will learn everything you need to know about the manufacturing and marketing process in a modern industrial company involved in the packaging industry. You will start off in purchasing learning about procurement and materials management and you will then move on to accounts in order to learn about costing and performance accounting as well as personnel management. The training will then focus on operations scheduling and production during which you will become acquainted with the technical principles of packaging production and the planning and organisation of a production unit. You will then focus on sales, distribution and marketing - as well as costing up quotations, the focus here is primarily on communication with customers. In the 3rd year of training, you will then be given your own assignments in a unit in order to consolidate your previous knowledge.

After your training, you can decide which one of the different units you would like to work in depending on your own particular interests. You can work in operations scheduling if you want to learn more about the technical side of operations, as a dispatcher in purchasing or else in office sales or field sales if you particularly enjoy dealing with people.
